The Pepe Margo Distillery is a historic house in Aruba, built in downtown Aruba circa 1900
Among others, it was home to Catarina Margarita (Margo) Arends, who gained recognition for her culinary talents, earning endearing nicknames like "Tan (Papiamento for aunt) Margo" or "Pepe (Papiamento for godmother) Margo" from the community.
Our distillery combines traditional distillation techniques with Margo's creative flair. Our custom-built copper still produces unique and exceptional Aruban rum and spirits, honoring the remarkable history of the house and celebrating Margo's enduring influence.
